Adil Hussain has joined Hogan Lovells Cadwalader’s Dubai office, strengthening the firm’s Banking & Loan Finance practice in the Middle East. Hussain comes from Baker McKenzie, where he led the firm’s Middle East Banking & Finance practice and served as Global Head of Islamic Finance.

Hussain advises on conventional, Shari’ah-compliant, and multi-sourced financing matters across the Middle East and internationally. He has been involved in a number of market-leading financing transactions and has advised on the structuring and development of several innovative financing products in the region.

Having worked across the UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, Hussain has built extensive regional experience and is regularly recognized by leading legal directories for his banking and finance expertise, particularly in Islamic finance. He advises a broad range of international and regional financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and other market participants on sophisticated financing transactions.
