Greenberg Traurig has moved real estate shareholder Ashia D. Adams to the firm’s Middle East Regional Headquarters in Riyadh. The relocation shifts her from the London office to Saudi Arabia, a move the firm says demonstrates a long-term commitment to the Real Estate and Hospitality industries in the Kingdom. She will now focus on real estate and hospitality initiatives across the country, working with the firm’s global Real Estate Practice.

Greenberg Traurig operates as a single entity across the Middle East, United States, Latin America, Asia, and Europe. Regional matters contribute significantly to the wider platform, allowing clients to access talent through one relationship regardless of their location. This unified structure ensures that the firm can handle complex transactions without fragmentation.

Adams brings experience advising private equity investors, developers, and institutional landlords across office, industrial, mixed-use, retail, hospitality, and data center spaces. She handles investment-focused property acquisitions, forward-funded development acquisitions, onshore and offshore financing, and major letting work. Her background spans a wide range of property sectors and financial structures.

Legal experts in the Gulf region note that the massive infrastructure spending required to meet the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals is driving a distinct surge in demand for sophisticated real estate counsel. This creates a competitive environment where established global firms are actively positioning themselves to capture a larger share of the market. The sheer scale of projects necessitates deep local knowledge.

“Greenberg Traurig operates as one firm globally, which means clients benefit from seamless access to lawyers, practices, and market knowledge across jurisdictions,” said executive chairman Richard A. Rosenbaum.

“We are delighted to welcome Ashia to the Kingdom at such an important moment for our clients and the market. Ashia is a highly regarded real estate lawyer whose experience, energy, and collaborative approach will be a tremendous asset,” said regional chairman and Riyadh managing shareholder Khalid A. Al-Thebity and deputy managing shareholder Marwa Al-Siyabi in a joint statement.

They added that the Kingdom is one of the most important legal markets in the world and that developing legal talent is core to the firm’s identity and future. Greenberg Traurig views this strategic move as a step toward strengthening its presence in a high-growth environment.

“Ashia’s relocation highlights Greenberg Traurig’s one-firm approach and the continued integration of our Middle East platform with the firm’s global network,” said executive vice president and London managing shareholder Fiona Adams.

The firm’s Real Estate Practice is recognized as an industry leader with more than 700 attorneys, providing a substantial resource base for clients engaging in large-scale projects. By consolidating regional and international execution under a single model, Greenberg Traurig offers clients coordinated strategies that bridge distinct legal environments. This structure supports the firm’s ability to deliver the local insight, global resources, and practical judgment clients need as they pursue opportunities in the Kingdom and across the region.
